    • Who is Ayşe Ayyıldız? (1976-Trabzon)Born in Trabzon in 1976, the artist completed her undergraduate education in 2002 at Erzurum Atatürk University Kazım Karabekir Faculty of Education, Department of Art Teaching. She started working as an art teacher at the Ministry of National Education in the year she graduated and she still continues to do so. She completed her master's degree in 2015 at Istanbul Aydın University, Institute of Social Sciences, with the subject of "Vision Phenomenon, Face, Self and Portrait". She won first place in the "Good thing I'm a Teacher" painting competition organized by the Büyükçekmece District National Education Directorate in 2019. The artist, who has participated in various mixed and solo exhibitions and also written for magazines, conveys the problems of the geography she lives in through symbolic elements through Anatolian women in her paintings. By doing her work through people, she tries to depict the journeys of the people in the paintings from the past to the present, from today to tomorrow, by staying with them on the road, being their companions and nourishing herself with ancient values, with what she puts in her bag. The artist, who particularly refers to women's motherhood and labor power, emphasizes the importance of women in the sociological context. The nudity in some of her works essentially indicates that women are not sexual goods to be watched. Women are strong everywhere and in every field and are depicted as individuals who can stand on their own feet using their minds and kneaded with endless love. The colors and brush strokes she uses in her works are as vibrant as women's sociological dynamism and productivity. She summarizes her art by saying, “My entire journey is an effort towards becoming a perfect human being.”The artist continues her life and work in Istanbul.Education; 2015 Istanbul Aydin University, Institute of Social Sciences, Visual Arts Thesis Master's Program, THE PHENOMENA OF VISUALIZATION "PORTRAIT, FACE, SELF" Master's Thesis 2002 Erzurum Ataturk University Kazim Karabekir Faculty of Education Department of Art Education Publications; 2015 Face is 'Self', Istanbul Adalar Magazine (Article) 2014-16 Art Articles, Adalar Magazine (Author)
