  Who is Tuğba Yalnızçöl Türküngün? (1980 – Salihli)Born in 1980 in Salihli, Manisa, she completed her primary, secondary, and high school education in Salihli. She graduated from Konya Selçuk University’s Faculty of Education, Department of Art Teaching, in 2002. The artist, who resides in Kemalpaşa, Izmir, studied at the Ertuğrul Saraç Watercolor Studio at the Izmir State Painting and Sculpture Museum. She has participated in eight solo exhibitions, competitive exhibitions, and numerous group exhibitions. She continues to work in watercolor painting.She teaches adult and children’s painting groups in Güzelbahçe, Izmir. Born and raised in Salihli, the artist reflects the traces of her hometown in her work.Art Perspective:The true source of an original narrative language is the artist’s sincere self-expression. In my work, I interpret the culture, nature, and people’s life stories by establishing a connection between reality and fantasy. The unique, distinctive staining of the watercolor technique has a significant impact on the direction of my work.
