Loft Art’s ‘Archive’ exhibition, marking its 5th anniversary, has opened its doors...
Loft Art, which has been providing a platform for the work of independent artists for five years, presented its special ‘Archive’ exhibition to art enthusiasts at an opening event held at Nisbetiye On in Beşiktaş, Istanbul. The opening drew significant interest, showcasing works by 23 independent artists that reflect Loft Art’s five-year exhibition journey. The exhibition is open to visitors at Loft Art until November 29.
The fact that Loft Art’s 5th anniversary coincides with the 50th anniversary of its main sponsor, Akfen Holding, adds a special significance to the event; the ‘Archive’ exhibition brings together the accumulated experience of these two distinct timeframes within a single framework. The exhibition references the shows held by Loft Art since 2021—an initiative launched to create a space where independent artists could display their work—as well as the artistic legacy built up during this period.

Launched in 2021, Loft Art has spent the past five years connecting art enthusiasts with works by independent artists from various disciplines and providing a platform for their creative output. The works exhibited during this period have formed the foundation of Loft Art’s five-year exhibition archive.
Drawing upon this accumulated body of work, the ‘Archive’ exhibition focuses on Loft Art’s five-year journey. By reuniting works by independent artists—who had previously been showcased under the Loft Art umbrella—the exhibition offers an opportunity to reflect on the artistic legacy built over these five years.
Established to create a space where independent artists can exhibit their work, Loft Art connects artists working across diverse media with audiences. Guided by the corporate values of Akfen Holding, Loft Art aims to support the creative output of independent artists and increase their visibility within the art market. Proceeds from the sale of artworks at Loft Art exhibitions fund the activities of the Turkish Human Resources Education and Health Foundation (TİKAV), established by Akfen Holding. Ayşe Jaber serves as the Art Director of Loft Art, which operates under the supervision of TİKAV Board Member Dilara Akın.
The ‘Archive’ exhibition is open for viewing at Loft Art until November 29.
