Gülsün Karamustafa will represent Turkey in 2024 at the Venice Biennale, one of the most important art events in the world, held every two years.

Born in Adana in 1944, Gülsün Karamustafa graduated from the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts, painting department in 1968.
