Who is Aysın Akay (1949-Antalya)She was born in Antalya in 1949. She graduated from Izmir Education Institue, Department of Painting and Graphics. She retired after working as an art teacher for 29 years. She continues her work mainly in the field of printmaking. She has participated in many domestic and international competitive exhibitions. She has 10 personal exhibitions and 5 awards. The main ones are: Second Prize in the 29th Turgut Pura Foundation Painting Competition, 11th. It is the achievement award in the Şefik Bursalı Painting Competition. İş Sanat İzmir gallery, Ege University prof. Personal Exhibitions were held at Yusuf Vardar Cultural Center and Izmir Turkish American Association. She has been accepted to various competitive group exhibitions in Romania, Bulgaria, Japan, Chine, Poland, Brazil, America and Spain and her works have been included in their catalogues. Her works are in various collections.
