Yonca Saraçoğlu's exhibition "Untold Tales," where she blends painting and sculpture, opens at Galeri Işık Teşvikiye on February 3rd.

Monochrome approach and memory at the forefront
In this exhibition, Saraçoğlu abandons the broad color palette of her previous periods and moves towards a monochrome expression. Using fewer colors in this series, the artist develops a narrative language that appeals to the viewer's memory through hazy images. Untold Tales does not stem from a lack of untold stories, but rather from their profound existence that resists being consumed. It offers a silent, simple, yet striking visual atmosphere.

Saraçoğlu, who has been producing works in the fields of sculpture, drawing, and digital design for many years, blends her new oil paintings with a selection of sculptures that shed light on her past in this exhibition. The artist's timeless aesthetic language is brought together at Galeri Işık through this interdisciplinary transition. The exhibition can be visited Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 20:00, and Saturday between 10:00 and 18:00.
