The "Secret Garden" exhibition, featuring works by Esteban Fuentes de María, Camille Bruat, and Francesco Poiana, will be on display at The Stay Boulevard Nişantaşı until November 17th.
Bringing together diverse artistic disciplines in Istanbul, The Stay Boulevard Nişantaşı continues to enrich the cultural and artistic landscape by hosting international exhibitions. The "Secret Garden" exhibition, founded by Eda Uras and co-created with Otmar Uras, is now available for art lovers. Featuring a group of works by international artists, "Secret Garden" invites art lovers to a garden with its door ajar, promising them a special journey woven with the rituals of dreams and the unseen.
The exhibition features works by Mexican artist Esteban Fuentes de María, who works with diverse techniques and varying scales; French artist Camille Bruat, known for his contemporary drawings and metalwork; and Italian artist Francesco Poiana, whose work often incorporates landscapes.
"The Secret Garden," referencing British author Frances Hodgson Burnett's cult book of the same name, appears at first glance to be a story of healing, but is actually conceived as an initiation ritual of the unseen. Rather than representing the garden depicted in the book verbatim, the exhibition transforms its vibrations into the materials and forms of contemporary art. The garden transforms into an interior space rewoven with lines, textures, and surfaces, reinterpreted as a symbol, ritual, and inner space.
"The Secret Garden," where each artist explores the boundaries of the unseen, is not a botanical space but an "interior space" rewoven with lines, textures, and surfaces. The exhibition space, however, is both hidden and open, its door ajar, its threshold uncertain.
The exhibition features over 30 works, ranging from paintings and patterns to ceramic vases and marble works of varying scales. The artists' works grow in the Secret Garden without touching each other, yet nourished by the same soil.
The "Secret Garden" exhibition can be seen in the gallery space on the first floor of The Stay Boulevard Nişantaşı until November 17th.
