The “Where We Came From, Where We Go?” exhibition held in Antalya met with art lovers.
The workshop exhibition consisting of works prepared in art events such as painting and sculpture workshops held at the 9th Kaleiçi Old Town Festival held in the city on October 17-20 was opened at the Aydın Kanza Art Gallery.
The exhibition organized by the Agora Art Group and Mercan Art Group includes 45 works consisting of ceramics, textile art, video art and conceptual art.
Agora Art Group Manager Ayşe Özmak Mercan stated in her statement that American culture assimilates local cultures and therefore they wanted to draw attention to lost values in the exhibition.
Mercan stated that the artists presented their works with this in mind and said, “We wanted to tell about lost values, each work here reflects how the artists view this issue. We questioned where we came from and where we are going.”
The exhibition can be visited until December 13.
