Turkish Journalists Association is organizing two exhibitions at the TGC Press Museum on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Republic. Freedom of Expression of Press and Thought in Turkey Visual Arts Exhibition 2 (#EYFREEDOM) and Republic Day Exhibition in National and Local Press will meet with journalists and art lovers on Thursday, October 26, 2023.
Works of artists consisting of paintings, ceramics, sculptures and collages will be exhibited at the Freedom of Press and Expression of Thought Visual Arts Exhibition in Turkey. The exhibition, curated by Fatma Batukan Belge, is organized by the TGC Culture and Arts Commission, consisting of Murat Erdin, Aybeniz Ece Uçan, Cihan Oğuz, Erol Aktı, Esin Yolçınar and Öznur Oğraş Çolak.
The exhibition also includes Coşkun Sami, Deniz Turan, Didem Medine İnci Aydın, Ebru Zarakolu, Ekrem Kahraman, Elhan Ergin, Emine Şenses, Ercan Akyol, Ercan Ayçiçek, Fatma Batukan Belge, Günay Atalayer, Gürbüz Doğan Ekşioğlu, Gürsel Bektaş, Hicabi Demirci, Huri Aykut. Ülker, İnsel İnal, Maryam Salahi, Mehdi Reyhani, Mehmet Aksoy, Musa Kart, Nihal Gündüz, Nihal Sarıoğlu, Öznur Oğraş Çolak, Perincan Yalnızcık, Pınar Güzelgün Hangün, Sema Çulam, Tan Oral, Turhan Selçuk, Tülin Onat, Yonca Saraçoğlu, Zehra Works by Çobanlı, Zeynep Soref and Zuhal Bilginalp will be featured.
Turkish Journalists Association, together with Bakırköy Municipality, prepared a Republic Day Exhibition in the National and Local Press. The Republic Day Exhibition in National and Local Press, prepared using the archives of TGC Press Museum and Bakırköy Municipality Art Advisor A. İlhan Gülek, includes the first pages of newspapers published in the last 100 years.
Both exhibitions can be seen at the TGC Press Museum until November 24, 2023.
