A joint painting exhibition was organized in Tekirdağ with the participation of Turkish and Bulgarian academicians and students.
Academicians and students made paintings as part of the program conducted by Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University (NKÜ) and Plovdiv Prof. Asen Diamandiev Music, Dance and Fine Arts Academy.
The opening of the exhibition, which included 100 works made with charcoal and oil painting techniques, was held at the Ahmet Erensoy Youth Center.
NKÜ Painting Department Assistant Professor Aslıhan Kuşoğlu told AA correspondent that the paintings, which were the result of a beautiful work, were presented to be admired.
Stating that the exhibition will be open until the end of the month, Kuşoğlu said, "We carried out a beautiful work with Prof. Asen Diamandiev Music, Dance and Fine Arts Academy. We opened an exhibition in Bulgaria in February. Now we are opening an exhibition in Türkiye. Very beautiful works emerged. I would like to thank everyone who contributed."
The Academy's Rector Prof. Jean Pehlivanov also expressed his happiness for working well with NKÜ.
After the speeches, participants toured the exhibition and received information about the works.
Süleymanpaşa Deputy Mayor Emin Benan Utku, academics and students attended the opening.
