Turan Han

Who is Turan Han? (1983-Malatya)

He was born in Malatya in 1983. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Malatya. In 2005, he completed his undergraduate education in Painting and Art Education at Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs University. In 2007, he started working as a visual arts teacher in Elbistan, Maraş. Currently, he teaches art at Kayseri Fine Arts High School and continues his artistic activities there.

Art Perspective;
Light is the most fundamental element that leads us to color; using color effectively and correctly has been my aesthetic concern in my paintings. I consider nature my greatest source of inspiration. While expressing this inspiration in my paintings, I try to reflect my soul in the most accurate way on this path I have embarked upon, combining color, brushstrokes, size, and especially contrasts with my own unique harmonies. Nature has its own rhythm; I seek this rhythm sometimes in the energetic traces of a sharp spatula, sometimes in a layered brushstroke, and sometimes in intense contrast. Since a young age, I have always been a good observer; watching the gentle breeze, the setting sun, or the majesty of a tree always created different vibrations within me. Especially after high school, I began to express these feelings through painting, and I am still progressing.
