İş Sanat's Anatolian Exhibitions, bringing together works by artists from different generations and reflecting the bounty of the land and the value of labor, presented its new selection titled "Taste" to art lovers at the İş Bankası Iğdır Branch on August 15-16...
The "Taste" selection, showcasing works from the Türkiye İş Bankası Art Collection, was open to visitors at the İş Bankası Iğdır Branch on August 15-16.
The selection, focusing on the journey of food from the field to the kitchen, included works by artists such as Feyhaman Duran, Selahattin Teoman, Naci Kalmukoğlu, Nazlı Ecevit, Nuri İyem, Fikret Otyam, and Vecih Bereketoğlu. Art historian Assoc. Dr. Ayşe Köksal explained the works in the exhibition, which reminded visitors of the cycle of production, the rhythm of communal life, and the cultural heritage passed down from generation to generation through fruits, harvest scenes, marketplaces, and kitchen preparations, while an art workshop for children was also organized within the scope of the exhibition, which was followed with great interest.
ANATOLIA EXHIBITIONS' 15 SELECTIONS REACHED OVER 9,000 VISITORS
The Anatolia Exhibitions, which took its first step in Çal in July 2025 and presented special selections to art lovers in 15 different locations ranging from Gelibolu to Antakya, Midyat to İznik, Amasra to Erzurum, have been met with the interest of over 9,000 visitors to date. The project has been awarded various prizes in important platforms such as the Mercury Excellence Awards, MarCom, Sardis, Social Benefit, and Istanbul Marketing Awards, reinforcing its pioneering role in expanding access to works of art.
The Anatolian Exhibitions, a regular activity of the Türkiye İş Bankası Painting and Sculpture Museum's learning programs, will continue to bring our shared cultural heritage to today's generations in its birthplace through diverse selections.
