The Fatih Municipality has transferred the "Tek ve Çok" (One and Many) exhibition held at the Nusret Çolpan Art Gallery to a virtual tour format as part of its digital archive efforts. The selection, consisting of 151 works by 43 artists, has become a permanent memory that transcends the boundaries of space and time, opening Istanbul's cultural memory to universal access.

The "Tek ve Çok" (One and Many) Exhibition, Bringing Together 151 Works by 43 Artists at the Nusret Çolpan Art Gallery, has been transferred to the digital archive with a virtual tour.

In recent years, the Fatih Municipality has distinguished itself in its cultural policies not only through venue-based events but also by ensuring the permanence of production through digitalization. The transfer of the "Tek ve Çok" exhibition to the digital archive via a virtual tour application is one of the most powerful examples of this vision.

This initiative ensures that art is accessible not only in a specific location and for a limited time, but also at any time and from anywhere. Thus, the exhibition continues to live on as a memory element that has withstood the test of time.

The "One and Many" exhibition is a collective selection produced by the Together Art Workshop, led by painter Cemal Toy. 151 works by 43 artists reinterpret Istanbul's multilayered cultural fabric using different techniques.

The watercolors explore the transitions of water and light, the oil paintings demonstrate density and permanence, the mixed media explore the city's multifaceted texture, the photography explores the relationship of scale between architecture and humanity, and the fabric productions showcase the transformation of the everyday into art.

This diversity demonstrates how individual styles can merge within a collective production platform, symbolizing the juxtaposition of "single" voices into a "multiple" aesthetic.

Curated by Ayşegül Ekin Odabaşı, the exhibition is structured under the following headings: "Light and Water," "Texture and Trace," "Passage and Layer," and "Memory and the Everyday."

Through these titles, viewers encountered not only the meaning of individual works but also the collective narrative created by the invisible connections between them. Istanbul's city walls, slopes, bazaars, and the rhythms of daily life gained a new aesthetic language through this structure.

The virtual tour prepared by the Fatih Municipality is more than just a "visiting convenience"; it is an archival initiative that ensures the permanence of cultural productions. In this respect, it is considered a contemporary manifestation of the municipality's approach of "connecting the past with the present and transferring it to the future," a prominent feature of its cultural policies.

The exhibition is now accessible not only from Istanbul but from around the world. This means opening up local production to universal access.

Fatih Municipality supports the preservation of historical fabric and the transmission of cultural heritage to future generations not only through restoration projects but also through innovative practices in the field of culture and arts.

Nusret Çolpan Art Gallery is at the center of this vision, offering young artists the opportunity to make their work visible. The virtual tour of the "One and Many" exhibition, which has been brought to the digital memory, demonstrates that the gallery is not just a physical space but also a cultural hub where individual and collective memories intersect.

The "One and Many" exhibition is no longer just an event that ran from September 19 to October 3, 2025. Through the virtual tour, it has become a permanent digital archive, a cultural memory element open to universal access.

This step brings the work of young artists to a wider audience while also ensuring the continuity of a contemporary understanding of Istanbul's cultural heritage. By uniting both individual creativity and collective production, the exhibition transforms into a powerful expression of art that will carry on into the future.
