The Kutlu Couple Presents a Group Painting Exhibition in Akçaabat...
A group painting exhibition featuring works by Ekrem Kutlu and his wife Nilgün Kutlu, prominent artists from Akçaabat, and their students, was presented to art lovers.
The opening of the exhibition, held in Akçaabat, was attended by Akçaabat Mayor Osman Nuri Ekim, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design at Trabzon University Prof. Dr. Raif Kalyoncu, Akçaabat National Education Director Mehmet Usta, as well as artists, students, and numerous guests. The exhibition, featuring works created using various techniques and themes, attracted considerable interest from visitors.
Akçaabat Mayor Osman Nuri Ekim, who inaugurated the exhibition, stated that art is an important force that brings society together, saying:
“We have inaugurated the Mixed Painting Exhibition, which reflects the unifying power of art and features works by Ekrem Kutlu, Nilgün Kutlu, and their students. I was greatly pleased to see the different traces of effort, aesthetics, and life in each work. I congratulate the artists who contributed to the preparation of the exhibition and wish this beautiful work, which adds value to our cultural and artistic life, to be auspicious.”
The exhibition, prepared by Ekrem Kutlu and Nilgün Kutlu together with their students, added color to Akçaabat's cultural and artistic life.
The exhibition can be visited until August 8, 2026.
