The “Beware, Cows May Appear!” project, realized in collaboration with BASE as part of Sütaş’s 50th anniversary celebrations, brought cow sculptures interpreted with original designs by artists to public spaces. The exhibition, prepared as part of the project, opened to art lovers with an opening ceremony held at Galataport Istanbul.
The iconic cow figures, a symbol of Sütaş’s communication world for years, have been brought to life again through the perspectives of artists selected from 20 different cities across Turkey. 50 different designs, chosen from hundreds of applications, bring Sütaş’s natural, sincere, and cheerful world to urban life through art.
The works, which will be exhibited at Galataport Istanbul between December 23rd and January 5th, aim to travel to different cities across Turkey throughout 2026, adding color, aesthetics, and मुस्कुराते moments to public spaces.
“WE WANTED TO BRING A SMILE-INDUCING EXPERIENCE TO CITY LIFE”
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Eylem Karakaş Soyluoğlu, Sütaş Main Brand and Corporate Communications Director, drew attention to the importance of cow figures in Sütaş's brand journey. Soyluoğlu said, “In our 50-year journey, our cows have been the most important source of inspiration for our brand. On our 50th anniversary, we wanted to make these iconic figures a part of city life with the creative interpretations of artists. Our aim is to bring color, aesthetics, and a smile-inducing experience to public spaces.”
EMPHASIS ON ART IN PUBLIC SPACES
Project Consultant Derya Yücel emphasized that the project increased the visibility of art in public spaces, stating, “With this project, Sütaş cows have transformed into a call that strengthens the bond established with the city.”
Aslı Boduroğlu, speaking on behalf of BASE, expressed her satisfaction with the exhibition of works selected from among approximately 200 artists' applications from all over Turkey, stating that the project provides an important platform supporting the artists' creative motivation.
The works of the artists featured in the exhibition will be displayed throughout Turkey.
Sütaş's "Beware, a Cow Might Appear!" exhibition, which brings together the fun and positive brand world with art, invites visitors to take a short break and smile amidst the fast pace of city life.
