Oasis Art Gallery, a prominent venue on Bodrum's culture and arts circuit, opened its doors to the painting exhibition "The Awareness" on August 8th. Among the artists whose works are featured in the exhibition are Agop Egoyan, Ahmed Rza, Ayşe Kaygın, Gerrard du Tillet, Güzel Bakır, Kani Kaya, Mine Çayıroğlu, Sibel Sun, Süleyman Erdal, and Şener Taciroğlu.
Surprise Participations from Famous Names
Ayçın Tuyun, known for her work in productions such as "Beyaz Gelincik" (The White Poppy), "Dedemin Cabinet" (My Grandfather's Closet), "Ömre Bedel" (The Price of Death), and "Alem-i Cin" (A World of Cin), is a guest artist in the exhibition.
Mine Çayıroğlu, one of Yeşilçam's unforgettable child stars, presents two original photographs of life through her lens.
Kani Kaya: "The Farkindalilik" (The Farkindalilik) features diverse artists in every respect.
Curator Kani Kaya explained that the reason for choosing the exhibition's title, "Awareness," is because the artists represent diverse cultures and ages. "We've brought together 35 works by 10 artists who grew up in different cultures, with diverse genres and techniques. Some are young, some are older... Each one produces very special works in their own field, thanks to their education and lifestyles. The artists reflect their own perspectives in their works, presenting the theme of 'awareness.'"
