The 7th Turkish Community Art Exhibition, which exhibits works by Turkish artists, will meet art lovers in London until April 19.
The 7th Turkish Community Art Exhibition, organized in collaboration with the London Yunus Emre Institute (YEE) and the Consulate General of Türkiye in London, has opened its doors to art lovers. The exhibition can be visited every weekday between 10:00-18:00 local time until April 19.
A Wide Range of Art
This exhibition, which has great importance, has been bringing together the works of the Turkish artist community in England with art lovers since 2019. The exhibitions organized every year feature a wide range of works from traditional arts to digital art, from photography to handicrafts. This year, 51 works, meticulously selected from 110 applications, are presented to art lovers.
Honorary Jury Members
The jury of the exhibition is undertaken by London YEE Director Dr. Mehmet Karakuş, Turkish Embassy in London Second Secretary Pınar Koç and artists Nilay İşlek, Nagihan Seymour and Ali Haydar Yeşilyurt.
A Large Number of Artists Participating
Among the artists participating in this year's exhibition are Abdullah Yusuf, Alev Jamal, Alisher Ilkhamov, Alona Erikson, Aylia Ahmedova. The works of the participating artists reveal the creative spirit of the Turkish artist community and contribute to the strengthening of cultural ties between the two countries.
A Sincere Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony was attended by important guests such as Türkiye's London Ambassador Osman Koray Ertaş, Consul Turan Oğuzhan Gönültaş and Camden Deputy Mayor Eddie Hanson. The event provided an opportunity for sincere conversations with flavors from Turkish cuisine.
