Şerivan Tutuş's solo exhibition "Migration Memory: From Roots to Wings" brings together traces of migration with art lovers at the intersection of music and painting. The exhibition, which will take place in A Coruña, Spain between March 29 and April 6, 2025, tells the effects of migration on individuals and society with the universal language of art.

Artist Şerivan Tutuş's solo exhibition "Migration Memory: From Roots to Wings" emphasizes that migration is not just a spatial movement, but also a journey with identity, culture and memories. This exhibition, whose artistic director is Rozerin Tutuş, presents a narrative in which 25 famous songs are transformed into migration-themed paintings.

The artworks bring different aspects of the theme of migration into visual language, from Bob Marley’s Exodus to Komitas’ Krunk, from Pink Floyd’s On the Turning Away to Aşık Veysel’s Uzun İnce Bir Yoldayım. In addition, works by artists such as Camarón de la Isla, Aram Tigran, Şakiro and Miriam Makeba are included in this narrative.

The Meeting of Migration, Memory and Art
Migration is not just a physical movement. The past, memories and melodies are also part of this journey. The exhibition “Memory of Migration: From Roots to Wings” expresses the stories of those who left, those who stayed and those who do not feel they belong anywhere through art.

The exhibition is organized within the scope of the European Union European Solidarity Program under the coordination of Fundación Condado de Taboada, Genç Birikim Association and Genç Çaba Association.
