Bursa Metropolitan Municipality has opened Serdar Acar's 'Days' exhibition, celebrating his 10th year in art, at the Tayyare Cultural Center; 79 works can be visited until February 28th.
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality has brought together the exhibition titled 'Days,' featuring works by painter Serdar Acar, with the people of Bursa. The exhibition presents selections from the artist's works coinciding with his 10th year in art.
The exhibition, consisting of works produced with acrylic paint on canvas and constructed with a simple and clear pictorial language, includes a total of 79 works. The selection brings together the artist's recent works.
The opening ceremony was attended by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Mehmet Aydın Saldız, artist Serdar Acar, Metropolitan Municipality officials, and numerous citizens. Deputy Mayor Saldız stated that the exhibition invites viewers not only to see but also to think and feel, emphasizing that Bursa is a city that supports art and cultural production. Saldız said, "I invite all our fellow citizens to see the 'Days' exhibition."
Serdar Acar, celebrating his tenth year in art, thanked Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey for his support in bringing the exhibition to the people of Bursa.
Following the speeches, Deputy Mayor Saldız presented artist Acar with flowers. After a group photo session, protocol members received information about the works in the exhibition from the artist.
The exhibition was conceived based on the traces left by the merging of days, and its opening date to visitors was announced as February 28th.
