Galeri Kambur is hosting Ufuk İnan’s exhibition, ‘The Rhythm of Emotions – Portal,’ from February 1st to 12th.
The artist describes the exhibition with these words:
The portraits in this exhibition do not depict figures belonging to this world.
They have completed a transition, passed through a portal, and are now looking elsewhere.
The faces are calm, silent, and profound. Because after leaving behind a world, the direction of the gaze changes.
The circular forms behind the portraits symbolize a threshold.
They carry the idea of the life cycle, transformation, and passing through a portal.
The works consisting of points that appear after this threshold represent the areas that the figures are looking at.
These areas are called “Universes.”
There are no figures in the universes.
There is only rhythm, vibration, and energy. In this exhibition, the viewer does not make eye contact with the portraits.
The viewer looks in the same direction as the figures.
The Rhythm of Emotions – Portal is a visual expression of a transition from the visible to the invisible, from humanity to the universe.

Artistic Perspective;
In the artist’s works; He reflected the stuck emotions of people in the overwhelm and rush of modern life by using unique lines and spots, and tried to convey the feelings behind the visible. He strives to create portraits and different compositions by effectively using expressions of emotional complexity. Generally in his works; It tries to reflect the “real” permanent expressions that are essential in the figures and are tried to be hidden. The artist, who thinks that all objects reflect energy, thinks that people reflect this energy much more intensely and expresses this energy with colors. The artist, who produces works other than figures and tries to stick to the pattern, also includes different disciplinary approaches in addition to his acrylic works.
