I believe in the status of these materials within the city, consumption, need and nature relations and their usability. I especially like using blue, gray and brown tones in my paintings. I believe that I express my feelings better with these colors while describing my works. I think that one of the big problems regarding the city is that the consumption chain is marginally a slave to people. This slavery has changed the fact that consumption should be due to need, and has sanctified consumption as a show-off material for people to be affirmed and accepted to a status. This situation has almost hypnotized today’s people to consume limited resources unconsciously. While such unconditional adoption of consumer culture has led to a number of natural disasters, it has also caused class divisions in society. I think I express myself better with my references to this distorted order through recycling in my works. If recycling culture can be introduced to people and everyone recycles instead of consuming, I believe that we can protect nature and our resources, leave a more livable world for future generations, increase energy efficiency, and save money by reducing industrial processes.Awards; 2012 12th Şefik Bursalı Ministry of Culture Painting Competition Exhibition (Ankara) 2013 İzmir University ‘’Colors of İzmir’’ Painting Competition Exhibition (İzmir) 2013 Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University Traditional Painting Competition Exhibition (K.Maraş) 2013 Turkish Air Force TURKISH STARS Painting Competition HONORABLE MENTION Award (Ankara) 2013 Akdeniz University Garbage to Art Painting Competition HONORABLE MENTION Award (Antalya) 2014 Çanakkale On Sekiz Mart University ‘’ÇANAKKALE SPIRIT’’ Painting Competition Exhibition (Çanakkale) 2016 İzmir University ‘’Colors of İzmir’’ Painting Competition Exhibition (İzmir) 2017 Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University Traditional Painting Competition Exhibition (K.Maraş) 2023 Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Special Painting Competition for the 100th Anniversary of the Republic Exhibition (Mersin)
