  Who is Ramazan Öner? (2003-Mersin)Born in Mersin in 2003. His interest in mathematics, besides art, led him to attend an Anatolian High School. In his final year of high school, he decided to study fine arts and began taking courses at Mehmet Yafgu’s studio in Mersin. During the two-year course, he realized his interest in space and light and shadow in imaginative and model art. After the course, in 2022, he was accepted to the Fine Arts Education Department of the Faculty of Education at Anadolu University. In his second year, he began taking classes at Şemsettin Eder’s studio. Following his teacher’s suggestions and references, he began painting with the theme of space, a theme he continues to explore today. The artist continues his artistic life in his own studio in Mersin.Artistic Perspective:Due to my interest in mathematics and geometry from a young age, geometric forms and movements, which are fundamental in my daily life and framing, began to attract my attention. Then, during my undergraduate studies, the theoretical part began to take shape. Here, what interested me most was the concept of “less is more,” a fundamental idea of ​​minimalism in art. I combined this with geometric forms and integrated it with the space.
