The stories of Anatolia, the exile on the wing of a partridge, and the inner journey of humanity spontaneously merge in my paintings. The knowledge and discipline I acquired as an academic blend softly with the tip of my brush in my studio; for my art is nourished not by theory, but primarily by life itself.Every canvas is a space of purification for me. I transform my pain, my losses, and my ruptures with colors that embody hope, rebirth, and healing. Figurative or abstract, whatever form I use, my aim is to make visible the human state of mind, the traces of the geography, and our collective memory. I want the viewer to encounter my paintings not merely with an image, but with a story, an emotion, and an invitation; an invitation to embark on their own inner journey. My understanding of art can be summarized as a compassionate and honest testimony that brings together individual suffering and collective memory. That’s why every work I create carries a healing intention, one I offer to myself and others. For me, art isn’t just an expression; it’s a way to lighten the burden of existence and create new meaning.
