He defines his works as the adventure of existence in the face of the reality of human finitude. Art is also a tool in this struggle. Inspired by traumatic events (earthquakes, wars and social problems etc.), Topaktaş sees his works not only as an aesthetic production but also as a resistance that bears witness to his era. Due to his interest in art and nature, he questions and interprets human existential concerns from a philosophical perspective.By creating an intellectual language about the body in his works, Topaktaş questions the intellectuality, vitality and secrets of not the body but also the subject that owns the body. He increases the emotional intensity by using texture in his paintings. By creating a melancholic and disturbing atmosphere due to his existential concerns with an expressionist attitude, he tries to tell the audience the importance of life and that everything is temporary.
