  Who is Hasan Kara? (1964 Denizli -) Hasan Kara, one of the naive representatives of Turkish painting; He was born in 1964 in Tutluca village of Denizli, as the child of a country ranger family. He studied primary school in his village. He completed his secondary education in Bozkurt district in 1979. He graduated from Denizli Commerce High School in 1981. Throughout his education, his talent always attracted the attention of his teachers and those around him. He never left his artistic life by making portraits of his friends and his circle. While continuing his working life, he also continues his education; He graduated from Eskişehir Anadolu University, Open Education Faculty, Department of Business Administration. During this period, he voluntarily gave art lessons to primary school students in Afyon and Kütahya. By touching their lives, he helped many of them become teachers and painters. He retired from the public institution where he started his business life. After his retirement, he devoted all his time to his artistic life. He continues his painting life in his own art workshop in Kütahya. From time to time, he gives free courses to university students in his workshop. He is married and has 2 children. Artistic Perspective: Hasan Kara, who has a unique place in Turkish naive painting; He has not lost his interest in painting since his childhood. Taking one of our naive painters, Hüseyin Yüce, as an example, he reflects his love of nature on his canvases. He created his own unique style with the vibrant colors he used in his canvases. Drawing attention at national and international levels with his style, Hasan Kara’s works are included in important collections in Europe and Turkey. He participated in exhibitions in countries such as Germany, England, France and Italy. He has participated in more than 50 personal exhibitions at home and abroad and continues to do so.
