    • Who is Esra Efeçınar? (1960-Samsun)She was born in Samsun in 1960. After completing her primary education in various parts of the country, she settled in Ankara. Painting was always with her throughout her education. She graduated from Eskişehir Anadolu University, Department of Philosophy.In 2005, she worked with Mr. Merhan Batuk in the Pattern, Monochrome, Vural Yurdakul workshop, and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Dalkıran workshop. She participated in the 5th International Güzelyurt/Ihlara Art Academy, Aksaray University Workshop organized in 2012. There are 2 of her paintings in the University’s Art Gallery Collection. She opened two personal exhibitions at Hacettepe University in 2008 and 2010, and one at Neva Art Gallery in 2010. Her paintings are in Hacettepe University Art Gallery. She opened her personal exhibition at Galeri N in 2017. She participated in the Dalaman Municipality 2nd Dalaman International Painting Workshop, the Gelincik Project ‘Day of Struggle Against Violence Against Women’ workshop organized by the Ankara Bar Association, the workshop organized by the Elazığ Governorship to support education, the 5th Afrodisias Art Workshop, and took part in many other workshops. She participated in two mixed exhibitions organized by ‘Cuore Di Donna -Progetto/Evento Itinerante’ abroad and more than 100 mixed exhibitions in Turkey. She continues her work in her own SHE ART WORKSHOP, located in the historical ANKARA CASTLE, where there are century-old inns and houses.Art Perspective; I create my works with an Expressionist, Abstract Figurative approach. I am an expressionist, in my paintings, the owl and woman figures can sometimes be found in pieces in a corner of the canvas, not as a whole. Also the lines I use in my paintings are speed, energy, crowds, new technology, progress, in other words; Futurism.
