The objects that reach the appearance in my compositions that I create using engraving and screen printing techniques in order to contribute to the Turkish Art of Printmaking are metaphorical reflections of the impressions I receive from nature regarding the sea culture and its experiences. As an artist, each composition I handle is a surface projection where I adopt the principle of questioning the current within an aesthetic perspective and making references to the past and the future. The texture-form dilemmas that emerged in my arrangements, which I created with the concern of addressing the tragic aspects of social life without straying far from the concept of pattern, were supported by different plastic elements such as the use of spotted colors.Personal Exhibitions;“Experiences That Washed Up on the Shore” Original Printmaking Exhibition Aksaray/2018 “Those Who Couldn’t Fit in the Sea” Original Printmaking Exhibition Istanbul/2018 Erol Murat Yıldız “THOSE LEFT BEHIND” Personal Printmaking Exhibition September 14-19, 2024 Erol Murat Yıldız “RETROSPECTIVE” Personal Online Printmaking Exhibition June 3-20, 2024
