The painter couple, who work as teachers in Şırnak's Beytüşşebap district and the village at the foot of Mount Kato, opened an exhibition in the village square.

The painter couple named Elif and Mesut Özdemir, a teacher living in Kavaklı village at the foothills of Mount Kato in Beytüşşebap district, exhibited their paintings in the village square. The couple, who previously held an exhibition at the Public Education Center in Doğubeyazıt district of Ağrı, put 20 paintings on sale for between 5 and 10 thousand liras. The Özdemir couple stated that they wanted to open exhibitions in other places.

Elif Özdemir said, "We exhibited the paintings we made with my wife in our village. We had previously opened an exhibition in Doğubeyazıt district, now we opened it in our own village. It went very well. We sell between 5 and 10 thousand liras."

Mesut Özdemir said, "We did this activity at the school in our village and introduced our paintings. "I want to call out to our officials, we want to exhibit these in other regions as well," he said.
