The exhibition "Multidimensional Life," a collaboration between the two artists, was presented to art lovers at the Artopia Art Gallery in Ankara. The exhibition explores the multilayered existence of humanity within nature, bringing together Eastern and Western philosophies.

Painter Nihat Kahraman stated that the exhibition's starting point was "to make forgotten events in our country visible through art," adding, "We considered what we could do to heal these events and make them more understandable and visible through our own art. Metin Yurdanur created his sculptures, and I gave them new meaning through my own."

Emphasizing that a great richness emerges from this structure where sculpture, color, and painting merge, Kahraman said, "Just as uranium is enriched, the artworks here have nourished each other, gaining new dimensions. This is where the exhibition's title comes from."

"Human Integration with Nature"
Kahraman stated that Eastern and Western thought converge in his works. "Western philosophy centers the individual; humans are at the forefront, while nature remains in the background. However, in Eastern philosophy, humans are a part of nature, integrated with it," he said, noting that by blending these two approaches, they depict the multidimensional existence of humans within nature.

The master painter noted that the exhibition also references common human concerns, saying, "Freedom of expression, rights, law, justice... All of these gain new meaning through the colors and forms of art."

"A Product of Art and Friendship"
Sculptor Metin Yurdanur described the exhibition as a work that brings together friendship and art. "Nihat and I have been friends since childhood. We have a friendship that has lasted 55 years. We have held exhibitions before, but this work is a more mature result of thinking together and bringing together different disciplines," he said.

Yurdanur emphasized that people are at the center of the works: “The human factor is important in every aspect of life. There are trees and plants, but people are always at the center. In my sculptures, people celebrate the future with great enthusiasm and greet beauty.”

The “Multidimensional Life” exhibition can be visited at the Artopia Art Gallery throughout November.
