Painter Belgin Akın brought her painting exhibition themed "Var Yok", consisting of her works made with acrylic techniques on canvas, together with art lovers at SANKO Art Gallery.

Stating that her paintings mainly consist of abstract nature symbols, figures and portraits, Akın said that her works dealing with the relationship between nature and humans reflect the expression of her thoughts and feelings regarding her inner journey to realize herself through abstractions rather than fully conveying pieces, figures or portraits from nature.

Akın, who explained that the most important feature of abstract works is that they do not contain specific objects and do not contain guiding content, said, "In abstract works, the expression of emotion and thought offers the viewer free space. Therefore, art lovers can more easily capture their own emotions and thoughts in abstract works." "The point I want to draw attention to in my works is that nature and humans are two parts of the same material reality and therefore there is a relationship between nature and society, each of which is a condition for the existence of the other," said Akın, and noted the following:

"In the exhibition I prepared with my abstract works that I produced between 2017-2025 and that include the theme of nature and humans, I aimed to make the audience think about the relationship between nature and humans, existence and absence and establishing their connection with the current system."

Art plays an important role in the development of society

Emphasizing that art plays an important role in the existence and development of society, Akın made the following statements:

"In a rapidly developing and changing world, our youth should not neglect technology, art and sports in the process of keeping up with change. Art will also keep our youth and children, the guarantee of our future, away from useless activities. Young people should spend their time on activities that are beneficial to themselves, society and the world they live in." Expressing that the support that SANKO Holding gives to art and artists is very valuable, Akın said, "It is very valuable that private institutions support art and artists. We care about the private sector supporting art that will elevate society. In this sense, I would like to thank the Konukoğlu Family and the SANKO Art Gallery Management for always making us feel the support they give to art and artists."

After the speeches, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Slovenia in Gaziantep, painter Mizyal Karabiber Nacaroğlu, presented the publication Zeugma Fırat'ın Gerdanlığı, published with the contributions of SANKO Holding, to painter Akın on behalf of SANKO Art Gallery.
