The Beyond the Horizon Exhibition, which sheds light on the artistic journey of Ömer Uluç, one of Turkey's most important artists, and brings together many of his important works under one roof, opened its doors at İstanbul Modern under the sponsorship of Artaş Holding.
Having carried out its activities for nearly half a century and having undertaken many successful projects, Artaş Holding continues its support for art with its vision and innovative perspective. The exhibition titled “Beyond the Horizon”, which sheds light on Ömer Uluç's artistic journey and includes one of the artist's most extensive selections in Turkey, opened its doors at İstanbul Modern under the sponsorship of Artaş Holding. The exhibition tour, hosted by İstanbul Modern Board of Directors Chair Oya Eczacıbaşı, was attended by Artaş Holding's Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Gökhan Çetinsaya, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Oğuzhan Çetinsaya and collectors.
The exhibition, which includes over 300 works by Ömer Uluç from the 1960s to 2010, will host visitors until December 12, 2025. The curators of the exhibition, which includes works in which the artist conveys his thoughts on the complex relationship between the universe and existence, are Öykü Özsoy Sağnak and Nilay Dursun, and Naz Uğurlu Benek is the assistant curator.

I have always been very impressed by the depth, global narrative power and innovative spirit of Ömer Uluç’s art, which I got to know well through his works in the Hagia Sophia Bath during the 1st International Istanbul Contemporary Art Exhibitions in 1987.
