The October Parade Exhibition, organized in honor of the founding of the Republic, opened its doors for the 13th time. Painter Kaysu Biber, who passed away last month, was also commemorated at the opening where 100th anniversary pride was felt.

On the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic, the October Parade 2023 Marmaris Exhibition met with art lovers once again. The exhibition, which has become a tradition since 2010 under the leadership of Marmaris Municipality, was opened at İçmeler MAKSAD Art Gallery. This year, the exhibition included the works of 16 artists. In the exhibition, in which Ece Türköz was a special participant, a special commemoration was organized for the painter Kaysu Biber, whose name is identified with the October Parade, who passed away last month. Deputy Mayor Suzan Zift and many art lovers attended the opening of the exhibition.

Vice President Zift congratulated all the artists who took part in the event and said, “October Parade has now become a tradition. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to this beautiful and meaningful exhibition on the 100th anniversary of our Republic. The absence of Kaysu Biber this year made us all sad. But we will keep his name alive with the colors, paintings and art he loved. "I thank all the participants and congratulate everyone once again," he said.


The exhibition can be seen at İçmeler MAKSAD Art Gallery until November 10.
