The 32nd International Culture and Arts Festival in Muğla was enlivened on its second day with the exhibition of paintings by Müfit Karzek, titled "September Light." The event, which hosted art enthusiasts in the mystical setting of the historic Sekibaşı Hamam, was captivated by the melodies of ney player Mustafa Kemal Güngör.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Menteşe Mayor Gonca Köksal Aras shared her feelings, emphasizing the unique style of the artist hosting the exhibition: "Our teacher, Müfit, who paints olive trees with his unique technique, offers us both aesthetic value. The olive, as well as being a symbol of peace and brotherhood, has also become a symbol of resistance and struggle in recent years. I have written a children's book to instill a love of nature in our children and to introduce them to our deep-rooted heritage, the olive. It will be published very soon. We also have another very esteemed artist here with us today: Neyzen Mustafa Kemal Güngör. I thank him very much for being with us today." Painter Müfit Karzek, who hosted the exhibition, expressed his honor at being invited and shared his thoughts: "I'm in a very precious place. Muğla is a city unlike any other in Europe. I've lived and worked in Bodrum for nearly 50 years. I realized that olive trees face east, towards the rising sun. In fact, all living things are in a cycle. Olive trees have become one of the most powerful symbols of this cycle and the main theme of my paintings. It's a great pleasure for me to share my works with you here today."

The ceremony was held with the participation of Menteşe Mayor Gonca Köksal Aras, painter Müfit Karzek, ney player Mustafa Kemal Güngör, and a large crowd of art lovers.

Mayor Aras added significance to the event by presenting Karzek with a children's book featuring olive motifs during the opening ceremony. Painter Müfit Karzek's "September Light" exhibition will be open to art lovers for two weeks at the Sekibaşı Hamam.
