The ‘Mixed Painting and Sculpture Exhibition’ organized by Samsun’s Atakum Municipality brought together art from three different disciplines.
Atakum Municipality held a ‘Mixed Painting and Sculpture Exhibition’ at the Hasan Ali Yücel Youth Science and Art Center. The exhibition, organized with the contributions of Atakum City Council, brought together art from three different disciplines: painting, sculpture and glass art.
The opening of the exhibition was attended by CHP Samsun Deputy Murat Çan, Atakum Municipality Council members, CHP Atakum District President Adem Kürek, CHP İlkadım District President Metin Telatar, Atakum City Council President Tuncay Seven and many citizens. The three-day exhibition featured works by painting artists Fatma Uludağ, Fahrettin Çakırsoy, Nükhet Aktaş, İhsan Ekiz, sculptor Burcu Yılmaz and glass artists Hande Tokalak and Tuğba Arslan. The works, prepared using different techniques, provided a visual feast at the center. The organization was greatly appreciated by art lovers.
Art lovers supported the Atakum Municipality's 'Get Your Book, Come, Let Your Book Be Your Ticket' campaign by donating books to the book box located in the center. The books collected in the book box at the municipality's free events are supporting school libraries throughout the city.
In a statement made by the Atakum Municipality regarding the organization, it was stated that "In Atakum, we continue to bring a different color of art to our people every day. We thank our people for the interest shown by our people in our exhibition, where three different art forms create a visual feast. We will continue to meet with art-filled days in our city."
