Galerist is preparing to close 2023 with Merve İşeri's first solo exhibition at the gallery, 'Union in Infinity'; The exhibition, curated by Canan Batur, meets with the audience between 9 November and 16 December 2023. The title of the exhibition etymologically examines fusion, reunion and alliance at the same time. While İşeri explores the ambiguity of the separation between nature and humanity, the feelings of grounding, rooting, home and belonging, it reminds us that we come from cosmic dust and will return to cosmic dust, and invites us to rebuild damaged bonds and celebrate collective life.

Sensible, divine but invisible connections appear on İşeri's canvases as a mother tongue and collaborator. This synesthetic approach of the artist appears in the exhibition as an audio and video installation with intuitive associations based on constellation maps.
The sound installation titled 'Sounds of Star Clusters', produced by İşeri in collaboration with composer Heloise Tunstall-Behrens, opens up space for the sense of direction in the space; In the exhibition, he interprets star constellations intuitively with the percussive tones of sound notations. The video work titled 'Orbits' deals with the combination with water, the possibility of a perception beyond the human, and our curved integrity. It questions the reflections of being human, our movement and life as a social being, from different perspectives.
Exploring cosmic connections from sea to land, from land to sky, İşeri offers an intimate and inner experience with the intuitive constellations he produces based on earth globes and star maps placed throughout the exhibition.
Merve İşeri invites the viewer to feel and deepen acoustic, intuitive and tactile perceptions with references from the sky and the earth with her exhibition 'Union in Infinity', where alchemic unity is symbolically and physically replaced by organic shapes, unusual fictional languages, overlapping surreal forms and colors.
