Young German artist Leon Löwentraut, known for his energetic color compositions, will be presenting his exhibition "Friendship in Colors – Friendship in Colors" at the Tarık Zafer Tunaya Cultural Center in Beyoğlu from November 1–15, 2025.

Young German artist Leon Löwentraut's exhibition "Friendship in Colors – Friendship in Colors" will be presenting his exhibition at the Istanbul Tarık Zafer Tunaya Cultural Center from November 1–15, 2025, with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Löwentraut, who has been painting since the age of seven and is listed on Forbes' "30 Under 30," conveys the universal bonds of friendship forged through the energy of color in this exhibition.

Known for his strong lines and energetic color compositions, Löwentraut represents a generation of young artists with originality, innovation, and social awareness.

The artist, whose works are exhibited in numerous museums and galleries worldwide, says, "For me, art is freedom." He expands the boundaries of his creativity in Istanbul.

Who is Leon Löwentraut?
Born in Kaiserslautern in 1998, Leon Löwentraut has been painting since the age of seven. He primarily pursues his artistic career in southern Portugal and the Lower Rhine region of Germany.

Löwentraut is considered a pioneer of the new generation of artists and collectors who have brought a new dynamism to the art world.

The artist's works have been exhibited in important museums such as Kunstforum Wien, Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana (Venice), Bayerisches Nationalmuseum (Munich), Osthaus Museum (Hagen), and Pushkin Museum (St. Petersburg). He has also exhibited in galleries in New York, Miami, London, Madrid, Hamburg, Ibiza, Copenhagen, Zurich, and Paris.

He has also participated in international art fairs such as Art Karlsruhe, Art Miami, Luxembourg Art Week, Art Toronto, and Estampa Contemporary Art Fair Madrid.

Forbes magazine ranked Löwentraut third on its "30 Under 30" list—one of the 30 most influential people under 30. On December 1, 2023, the artist was awarded the Ernst Barlach Visual Arts Award.
