Brieflyart, which joined Turkey's art scene in 2020 and has been embracing plastic arts in its physical space in Gümüşsuyu since 2022, hosts İsmet Değirmenci's personal exhibition titled "Find Me".

Concentrating his art on human-nature relations, İsmet Değirmenci questions life with island metaphors in his exhibition "Find Me"; It reconstructs itself as a utopia against the dystopian order we are in, by considering the concepts of finding oneself, moving away, a new place and creation. Just like the "non-existent" islands that cartographer painters who participated in world explorations in the 16th century drew for their lovers during their long journeys, the artist also draws his own dream islands.

As in his previous exhibitions, in "Find Me", İsmet Değirmenci focuses on the idea that both himself and the whole are in constant motion with their parts in the human life cycle. Based on the philosophy of flow, becoming and walking, he depicts the state of being in nature, in harmony and peacefully with nature, through new materials each time. shares an experience with art lovers. One section of the exhibition includes island pictures that Değirmenci drew on the pages of Alain de Botton's Romantic Movement and Nikos Temelis's Quest books. In the other section, the artist's "loneliness maps" paintings made using India ink on paper and the bust series titled "Migration Portraits" made of terracotta await the audience. The catalog prepared for the exhibition includes Emre Zeytinoğlu's article.
