The 'Artist Female Academicians' exhibition opened in Tekirdağ reveals the power of women in art.
The "Artist Female Academicians" painting exhibition organized by Namık Kemal University in Tekirdağ opened at the Rectorate Art Gallery on the occasion of International Women's Day. 42 works by 18 female academicians were presented to art lovers in the exhibition.
Speaking at the opening of Serbin, NKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Mümin Şahin emphasized that the importance of women in society is increasing day by day. Şahin said, "Our exhibition, which reflects the power, talent and creativity of women with the universal language of art, reveals economic and artistic successes. The exhibition is not only an art event, but also draws attention to the importance of women in society, women's rights and gender equality."
In addition, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şeniz Özhan also stated that they organized a meaningful event on International Women's Day. The curator of the exhibition, Prof. Melihat Tüzün stated that the exhibition reflected the solidarity and strength of women.
At the event, certificates of appreciation were presented to the participants by Rector Prof. Dr. Mümin Şahin. The exhibition, which will remain open for art lovers, can be visited until March 26.
