Art Perspective;
Hilal Arslan brings together objects and figures with a surreal understanding that includes symbolic sub-expressions, and uses expressionist brush strokes. The influences of miniature art can also be seen in her old works. In her works, it is possible to come across motifs such as baby angels falling from the sky, water lilies blooming cleanly in the middle of all the chaos and mud, trees symbolizing abundance and fertility, sometimes figures questioning their past, and sometimes elements from the past that bear witness to the moment. She symbolizes that a person is on an inner journey with water lily flowers, the need for emotional protection and personal boundaries with gloves, and spiritual protection, guidance and innocence with angels falling from the sky. Pisces women are associated with emotion, intuition, subconscious, creativity and fertility. At the same time, Pisces women also represent a spiritual journey. The words that flow from her when she needs them take their place in some of her paintings in a poetic way. There are acrylic on canvas, acrylic on handmade paper that she produces as recycled, and engraving works.
