Hikmet Çetinkaya, who opened a total of 161 personal exhibitions, especially abroad, has brought more than 30 thousand works to the art world to date. Here is the short life story of Hikmet Çetinkaya
He graduated from Ankara Gazi University, Gazi Faculty of Education – Painting Department in 1982.

In 2002, he opened an art house called Arc-En-Ciel Maison D’art Paris in France and carried out artistic activities for 5 years. In addition to the workshop he established in Toronto, Canada in 2013, he simultaneously continues his artistic work in his workshop in Ankara.

He participated in art symposiums in Bulgaria-Varna-Plovdiv, Austria-Pöchlarn, Canada-Montreal-Ottowa-Toronto, Kyrgyzstan-Bishkek, Australia-Canberra, Taiwan-Taipei, Malta-Valletta, gave live performances and gave seminars.

He held a total of 161 personal and solo exhibitions, 56 of which were abroad (America, Canada, Germany, Russia, Austria, France, Sweden, China, Australia, Greece, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Malta, Taiwan, Cyprus). Çetinkaya, who was introduced to oil painting in 1976, brought more than 30,000 works to the art world with his brush, which he has not given up for 46 years.
