The Nilüfer Municipality is hosting Bursa-based artist Hasan Mirza's exhibition, "Reckless Essays." The works on display at the Nazım Hikmet Cultural Center are noteworthy for their work, which blurs the boundaries between nature and humanity.
Bursa-based artist Hasan Mirza's solo exhibition, "Reckless Essays," was open for viewing at the Nazım Hikmet Cultural Center. Nilüfer Deputy Mayor Bukle Erman, artist Hasan Mirza, and numerous art enthusiasts attended the opening.
Speaking at the opening, Nilüfer Deputy Mayor Bukle Erman stated that the Nilüfer Municipality has implemented significant projects in the field of culture and arts, and stated that society will be better off through art. Erman noted that the Nilüfer Municipality will continue to participate in joint projects with local artists, saying, "It has become our motto to bring their valuable work to light and present it to international platforms. Our goal will be to cultivate our own city's artists and introduce them to the country."
Artist Hasan Mirza emphasized that the Nilüfer Municipality is an institution of special standing and prestige, expressing his satisfaction with the support provided.
Following the speeches, the exhibition "Reckless Essays" opened for viewing. Dissolving the boundaries between nature and humanity, Hasan Mirza takes a stand against the city's loss of memory in his paintings. In works that appear like landscapes, Mirza reveals the traces of forgotten nature, the shadows of destroyed cities, and the fragility of the body.
