
Who is Harun Reşit Sargın? (1989-Denizli)
Harun Reşit Sargın was born in Denizli, Türkiye, in 1989. He completed his undergraduate education in the Department of Art Education (Painting Teaching), Faculty of Education, Pamukkale University, in 2018. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in the Department of Art Education at the Institute of Educational Sciences, Pamukkale University.
Artistic and Academic Experience
In 2017, he played an active role in the establishment of the Fine Arts Society at Pamukkale University. He continues his professional practice in painting, mural art, relief sculpture, and photography. Alongside his artistic production, he conducts academic research in the fields of art education and applied visual arts. He is currently based in Denizli, Türkiye.
Artistic Approach
Harun Reşit Sargın approaches figurative drawing-based painting through a contemporary perspective. His works explore the relationship between figure and space, focusing on the individual’s psychological state, memory, and inner experiences. Constructed from photograph-based compositions, his paintings integrate figures with broad areas of flat color and spatial arrangements that occasionally approach abstraction. Through a restrained yet expressive visual language, he aims to offer viewers different emotional perspectives by means of color and space.
