Built in 1942 as a shelter for the Turkish Grand National Assembly in the shadow of World War II, this structure was restored by our Ministry in 2021 and put into the service of art and art lovers. This space, which came to life under the name of Shelter, Area for Art and Technology within the Republic Museum, is now not only a place that protects, but also a place that thinks and tells. and has undertaken an inspiring function,” he said. Yazgı noted the following: "From the talismanic works with the theme of healing that came to light for the first time today to the Atatürk archives revived with artificial intelligence, a selection extending from the Ottoman Empire to the present... It has become an exhibition of knowledge, memory and consciousness as well as art. In these lands, we work with the understanding that art is the common memory of the nation. What we see here today is not only the aesthetics of art, but also a manifestation of our efforts to keep people alive and give them meaning." Banu Küçükel said the following about the exhibition: "As Güven Hospital, we could tell you pages of history, dozens of successes and thousands of human stories in order to make sense of the value of our 50-year journey. However, instead of telling this long journey today, we preferred to give our souls a break in the light of art, with the magical language of shadow and light with brush colors and the healing power of music, and to look at the moment through the eyes of our essence." We are celebrating our 50th year with 50 works" Expressing that she found it 'meaningful' for the exhibition to be held in the 2nd TBMM Building, Sığınak, Küçükel said, "Organizing the exhibition in the depths of history, It means a lot to us. Because as an institution that carries the traces of the past to the future, we have always adopted making peace with history and looking to the future with hope. We are celebrating our 50th anniversary with 50 works with the contributions of our valuable artists. This exhibition is not only a reminder, but also a thank you." Banu Küçükel said the following in her speech: "I would like to thank our founders, Dr. Ahmet and Aysun Küçükel, all our companions and stakeholders who have contributed to the institution, trusted it and grown with us in the 50-year history of Güven, and especially the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, the valuable managers of Güven Education and Health Foundation and the entire Güven family, with respect, love and a great joy that opens from within. The element that carries an institution to 50 years is not its buildings, devices or success tables, but the culture, values and people of that institution that make it live and deepen it. Those people who both heal, improve and give hope and leave a beautiful mark behind. This is exactly what Güven Hospital is. It is a story of leaving a mark, a love for the country."
