Güngör Danışman Arıbal ? (1934 – 2016)

Güngör Arıbal is known as a versatile artist who produced works in the fields of painting and ceramics in Turkey. She completed her early education in Adana, continued her high school education in Mersin, and then settled in Istanbul, where she developed her artistic production. Her artistic output was not limited to painting; she also worked in ceramics and various other visual arts disciplines. She is also a member of the Fine Arts Union Painting Association, Gesem (Turkish Fine Arts Works Owners Professional Association) (1988), and Sam (Turkish Science and Literature Works Professional Association) (1988). She has held solo exhibitions abroad in the USA, Argentina, Mexico, Russia, and Tunisia. She has participated in group exhibitions in the USA, Spain, Belgium, Hungary, Greece, Romania, Pakistan, and Turkmenistan. She has held 52 solo painting exhibitions and participated in over 300 group exhibitions both domestically and internationally. She has also organized group painting exhibitions for many associations and organizations. He was accepted into the US Academy of Arts and Culture and received a Doctorate in Humanism a year later (1999) due to the Sufi philosophy that is the subject of his poems. He was also given the title of 'Ambassador of Humanism' by the US embassy communities due to the philosophical expression in his poems (2006).
She is an honorary member of the Turkish Nature Conservation Association, the Italian Painters Association, and the Adana Painters Association. He has 3 gold medals given by the Prime Ministry SHÇEK and an honorary plaque given between September 14-23, 1990, for being a founding member of Omjet at The First Assembly Egypt. He served as the Art Consultant of Ankara Art Magazine and the young generations' newspaper Ana Magazine. He was presented with an honorary plaque by ABİ-USA (2001) for his achievements in the fields of ceramic painting and poetry. He has three poetry books: "Sayings in the Conversation Space," "I Hammered a Nail into the Sky," and "Where Time Ends."

The artist has received certificates of honor and plaques from ministries, provinces, municipalities, foundations, and cultural and art organizations, and his works are currently in museums and private collections. He has served as art director for publications such as Ankara Sanat, Ana Dergisi, and Genç Kuşaklar Gazetesi. His poems have been published in various anthologies, and his articles in magazines and newspapers. His works are exhibited in many art museums. In 2013, she organized a large painting exhibition in Girne, Cyprus, in memory of the late President of Cyprus, Rauf Denktaş, with the participation of recreation association members, and it was opened by President Derviş Eroğlu. In 2013, she participated as a special guest with 23 works in the 2nd Uzbek-Turkish Friendship Painting Exhibition at the Taksim Cumhuriyet Gallery in Istanbul. Her works are included in many museums and private collections.
