On May 9, 2025, an impressive international exhibition was held at Sedet Art Gallery, one of Baku’s important art venues, with the participation of 28 artists from Turkey from the Femin Art International Women Artists Association. The exhibition not only presented the creativity of women artists, but also became a platform serving the ideals of international cultural cooperation and world peace.
The event was attended by well-known intellectuals, artists, media representatives and young artists from Azerbaijan. The works in the exhibition reflected the depth of the female soul, its creative power and commitment to human values.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Femin Art President Şükran Üst stated that such events have a special importance in terms of women artists being recognized internationally and coming together through art.
Femin Art Azerbaijan representative Nagiya Rzayeva emphasized in her speech the need to further develop the environment of solidarity and cooperation among women artists.
UASB Azerbaijan representative, painter and curator Nevai Metin Məmmədoğlu, stated that these projects are important steps not only for art but also for world peace, and put forward the idea of continuing the exhibition in Trabzon, Turkey in the future. This suggestion was met with interest by the participants.

They expressed their belief that this international cooperation will continue with new exhibitions and projects.
At the end of the event, catalogs and certificates were officially presented to the women artists included in the international catalogue titled “100 Women Painters of the World”. In addition to the works of women painters from different countries of the world, a special place was also given to the first woman painter of Azerbaijan, Vecihe Samedova.
Evaluating the impressions of the trip, President Şükran Üst said the following:
"During the exhibition, we exchanged ideas between local and foreign artists and evaluated mutual cooperation opportunities. We were all amazed by the beauty of Baku, its cleanliness, architecture, cultural buildings, museums, theaters, parks, abundance of green areas, wide tree-lined streets, the value given to living and deceased artists and scientists, cemeteries and martyrs' cemeteries."
