Organized under the auspices of Üsküdar Municipality and meeting with art lovers at Nevmekan Sahil Gallery within the scope of March 8 International Working Women's Day and week, the "EIGHT - Pioneer Turkish Women of the Republic History Exhibition" will be opened with the presence of Mayor Sinem Dedetaş. Artist Ceyda Erinç reshapes eight pioneer women of the Republic history on her own face in this exhibition, making the common voice of the past and the future heard through art.

A woman is a light that sees the future in the mirror of the past. Afife Jale's courage echoing on stage, Cahide Sonku's paths in cinema, Keriman Halis's power announced to the world with her elegance, Mihri Müşfik's revolutionary spirit overflowing from her brush, Suat Derviş's truth processed with words, Sabiha Gökçen's freedom written in the sky, Seniha Sami's works shedding light on history and Süreyya Ağaoğlu's acumen kneading law with justice come together on the artist's face in this exhibition.

"I am you. You can be me too."
As the artist's face merges with theirs, each brush stroke whispers this powerful message: 'I am you. You can be me too.'

Among those who have performed the works are many names from fields such as performing arts, medicine and literature, especially Hande Ataizi.

The exhibition, which will also benefit from the income from the sale of the works, will meet art lovers at Nevmekan Sahil Gallery between March 8-April 8.
