Artist Nihat Kahraman's personal exhibition 'Dimensions of Color' meets art lovers at Kent Art Gallery.

Kent Art Gallery hosts the personal exhibition "Dimensions of Color" by Nihat Kahraman, one of the important names of the art world. Born in Denizli, Kahraman started his art life in 1972 by graduating from Ankara Gazi Education Institute, Painting and Crafts Department. Then, between 1972 and 1976, he was sent to France with a scholarship from the Ministry of National Education and received artistic education at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts (ENSBA) in Paris. While he was working as a lecturer at Ankara Hacettepe University Faculty of Fine Arts, he developed his art in the fields of murals, frescoes and mosaics. He also worked as a decorator at Ankara State Opera and Ballet between 1985 and 2012. He has been working as a chief decorator in the same institution since 2012. Nihat Kahraman's works are a reflection of his quest to discover the fine boundaries between existence and non-existence. In the exhibition, viewers will have the opportunity to simultaneously and visually experience Kahraman's multidimensional life-relationship quests. The exhibition can be visited at Kent Art Gallery between 9 February and 1 March.
