The exhibition, curated by Deniz Karaaziz Şener, can be visited until May 25. Master artist Cihat Aral, who attended the opening of his exhibition via video conference due to his illness, said, "I regret not being able to be with you. Unfortunately, my health problems prevented me from coming there, I apologize to you. I am experiencing the excitement of feeling like a student taking an exam for the thought that created this exhibition, the effort that realized this exhibition, and the processes that brought this exhibition into being." I tried to explain the developmental processes in human life through themes" Expressing that the art of painting is a responsibility felt towards society, Aral said, "I feel this responsibility every time. Every time, I questioned my inner world and the works that emerged as a result. Now I am trying to tell something on my own behalf, but the things that will tell about me on my behalf are there, on the walls. I am presenting you the processes I have experienced throughout my life as paintings. I tried to tell the developmental processes in human life through a theme. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the realization of my exhibition and the Çankaya Municipality. The paintings will tell what I want to say from time to time. We will establish a dialogue with you through them," he said.Following Cihat Aral, his son Yiğit Aral, who attended the opening on his behalf, praised his father with the words "The horn could not overcome the ear" and expressed the importance of Cihat Aral and his works that shed light on a period, and how they should be interpreted.The exhibition, which opened at the Contemporary Arts Center, can be visited free of charge between 09.00-20.00 all week until May 25.
