Who is Bergüzar Kartal? (1973 – Varna)

She was born in Varna, Bulgaria in 1973. She completed her primary and secondary education there. In 1989, her family moved to Adapazarı and she completed her high school education there.

She worked at Tekirdağ State Fine Arts Gallery from 1994 to 1995. She also took lessons at the studio of Gallery Director Melahat Can Ayvaz.
In 1995, she received design training from Prof. Dr. Sakit Mammadov and Prof. Dr. Refik Aziz in Istanbul for a while.

She won the Department of Art Teaching at Trakya University in 1996. She received basic art, design and oil painting training from teachers Mehtap Cömert, Enis Şensever and Nuran Gülendam. She graduated from the department in 2000 with first place.

She worked as a Visual Arts Teacher at Erzurum-Olur Kazım Karabekir Secondary School from 2000 to 2002. 2002-2019 Marmaris Evren Paşa Middle School Visual Arts Teacher and Vice Principal.

He was Vice Principal at Marmaris Nurettin Gençalioğlu Anatolian High School between 2019-2023. Since September 2023, he has been a Visual Arts teacher at Marmaris Şehit Mehmet Çetin Middle School and continues his painting studies in his own studio.

He has participated in 13 personal exhibitions, many domestic and international group exhibitions and fairs since 1993.
