'BAYOU Masters of Art and Culture: The Color You Like' exhibition met with the audience on September 12.

Bringing together different disciplines and expression styles of contemporary art, the "BAYOU Art & Culture Masters: Any Color You Like" exhibition opened on September 12.

The exhibition at Lara Barut Collection, prepared in collaboration with Art Coordinator Hakan Kürklü, includes works by Nurdan Likos, Emel Ezal, Emre Acar, Emir Yasin Yağmurca and Daniela Budişteanu.

While the exhibition brings together the different painting and production approaches of five artists under a common roof, it focuses on different themes through each artist's own style. Works ranging from figurative to abstract expression; It addresses themes such as nature, women, identity and trauma from different perspectives.

Nurdan Likos focuses on the concepts of women, nature and rebirth in her works. While metaphors such as "seed" and "protective sheath" stand out in the artist's works, the relationship with nature's transformation and life cycle attracts attention.

Emel Ezal, on the other hand, explores the relationship between color, emotion and perception using neon colors and figurative expression. His works, where vibrant colors come to the fore, focus on the intersection of emotion and visual perception in contemporary painting.

Female portraits have an important place in Emre Acar's works. While the artist makes visible the traces of individual and social traumas through the figures, he points out the relationship between personal experience and social memory.

Emir Yasin Yağmurca creates a multiple narrative space in the exhibition with his productions that bring together different disciplines such as video, photography and installation, as well as painting. The artist's works explore the limits of visual experience through different media.

Daniela Budişteanu, on the other hand, works on the border between self, dream and reality, loss and the traces left by time in her works where she uses figurative and abstract expression together. It is seen that personal experiences intersect with abstract and figurative images in the artist's productions.

These works, with different techniques, styles and themes, bring together the broad narrative field of contemporary art, from individual experience to nature, from social reality to identity and memory, in the same exhibition.
